It’s that time of the year again… Game day mania coupled with uninhibited snacking… Let’s continue the tradition of snacking this Super Bowl with these easy and quick starters.

A favorite fusion snack liked by kids and adults. This recipe was posted earlier on the website and received a lot of positive feedback.

Last but not the least, my personal easy peasy favorite. Who doesn’t like Sriracha sauce? This recipe is a spin on the popular chicken 65.

Boneless chicken(I prefer thigh)- 2lbs

Yoghurt- 1/2 cup

Sriracha sauce- 1.5 tbsp.

Salt to taste

Oil- 1 tbsp.

Cumin- 1 tsp

Curry leaves- 5-6

Ginger- I tbsp. finely chopped

Green chillies- 4-5 Slit vertically(Skip if you don’t want it very spicy)

Coriander leaves for garnish

Marinate chicken in the Sriracha sauce, salt and yoghurt mixture. You can add a tsp. of lime juice(optional). I left it overnight in the fridge. Before you are ready to cook, set the marinating chicken out for a little while. Heat oil in a pan, add the marinade. Cook for 5 mins on high flame. Reduce heat, cover with a lid and let it cook till the chicken is tender. Once the chicken is done, set it aside. In a separate pan, add cumin and when they start to splutter, add the curry leaves, chillies and ginger. Add the cooked chicken to it and let it cook for another 2 minutes. Garnish with coriander. Serve on toothpicks. The tartness of the yoghurt and sriracha marinade is balanced with ginger and curry leaves.
